There is nothing quite like a cup of your favorite joe on a nice cold winter day, or a beautiful fall morning, or a budding spring… ok you get the picture. There is NEVER a bad time to have coffee. Can I be honest for a moment? I had never heard of National Coffee Day until just a few weeks ago. True story. What a brilliant day. I mean, really, we have days that honor moms, dads, grandparents… This beautiful bean that we call coffee, has given so much to us. Think about it. Said moms, dads, and grandparents have leaned on this treat for generations. Take a short journey back in time with me, and imagine your childhood void of coffee. Scary thought huh? I am here to testify, MAMAS NEED THEIR COFFEE!
That’s not a joke. Just ask my kids. There’s pre-coffee mom (aka – “leave me alone or die”) and then there’s post-coffee mom (aka – “I love you honey” 🙂 ). I think most of us can agree that coffee just makes life better. It makes me like the people I’m with, and it makes me a little more bearable to be around.
National Coffee Day – This beverage is finally gaining the recognition it deserves. Think about it, how many other drinks have a cup named after them? Not many. But coffee does.
