The Myfox Security Camera is unique in many ways. One of the top features is the remote controllable privacy shutter. It allows users to stay secure while protecting their own privacy when necessary. The shutter acts as eyes that can open or shut through mobile access with the Myfox Security app. 

The iOS/Android compatible app is the control center for the Myfox Security Camera. Setting up the app and camera can be accomplished in less than 2 minutes.  The camera is full HD and remotely viewable from the app at any time. You can set up the app to notify you or trigger an audible alarm if the camera detects any movement. 

Myfox security camera is small and has a sleek modern design. You may not recognize it is a camera when the shutter is closed. The camera’s wide angle lens watches over your home with night vision and motion detection sensors. Users can zoom in up to 4x on minor details. 

One of my favorite features is the two way microphone. It allows you to listen and speak through the unit. Using your mobile device and the Myfox security app, you can watch, listen, and speak to family from across the globe. 

Mom’s Thoughts

It has been a pleasure testing out the Myfox Security Camera. My husband likes to remote control our home unit from his job. He enjoys the talking feature of the app. It allows him to not only see what’s going on in the house, but he can communicate with us and likewise. I like the fact that the kids know that Daddy can see them anytime he wants! That can be an advantage to mom. 😉 

The night vision feature is an impressive perk. It is very dark at night where we live. Some evenings you can barely see your hand in front of your face. I like the fact that Myfox Security Camera is crisp and clear even when it is dark. 

You can access the camera on any mobile device using the same email address that you initially set it up with. We have downloaded the app to three smartphones. That is convenient for my husband and me. 

I have to admit, I do like the privacy shutter. I know when we have guests over, they appreciate the privacy also. It’s nice to close it down every now and then. 

Besides our silly fun, Myfox Security camera gives us peace of mind. Knowing that there is an extra set of ‘eyes’ on our precious family helps me sleep better at night.

Our full HD camera is set to “real time” video streaming with unlimited snapshots from live video. Myfox also offers upgraded storage services that are based on a subscription service. You can have unlimited snapshots and 1 day video history or 7 day video history with access to the timeline. For each camera installed, users get 7 free days of video history for two weeks to test out. In addition, with the video history upgrade, you can save 10 minute videos to your mobile device from the cloud. The Myfox Security Camera can be purchased as a stand alone product or as an asset to the Myfox Smart Home Security System.
