About the founder of HipCity Sak®
The founder of the HipCity Sak® is a Mom. Her brand is to empower young girls to be more independent as well as inspire them to follow their heart. It is important that little girls realize they can be adventurous, dream big and always express themselves!
The problem that this Mom ran into was that her daughter always wanted to take her little toys with her when they were out. So the Mom had to hold her own items as well as her daughters. Then one day she came up with the idea to make something that would solve this problem. Especially because she couldn’t find anything like the idea she was about to come up with. After a trip to the local craft store, the HipCity Sak® was born. Her daughter fell in love with it and was able to fit the things she wanted to take on their outings in it. One rule the Mom made was that if it didn’t fit into her sak, she could not bring it with her.
Then one day the little girl asked if she could just wear the belt as she didn’t have anything to take in it. Her Mom said yes and off they went. The Mom’s sister happened to see the belt without the sak and mentioned it looked a bit boring without it, especially with the snaps showing. That is when the snap on accessories came into play.
Above is my granddaughter Emma with her HipCity accessories on her belt. Then there is my great niece Leah who is seriously sporting her HipCity accessories on her belt. Emma’s favorite color is pink and Leah’s is purple so these were just perfect for them. Leah and Emma are 2 months just about to the day apart. So by Thanksgiving Emma will have caught up to Leah age wise. They both said that these were “so cuuutte”, and that they were their FAVorite colors! So these passed their test! Leah said she will keep her hair ties and snacks in it (which made me laugh), and Emma said she will keep her baby brother’s pacifier in it and an extra diaper. From the mouths of little girls.
HipCity Sak fits the average girl sizes 5 – 9/10.
