Check out this video my son took of our dogs playing Frisbee. We had tried to put it on their backs, but that plan needs a little more organization before we can show the world. Here is our German Shepherd all excited and ready to go with the Vivitar HD Action Cam on the special harness my hubby had.
The Vivitar Action Camera was very easy to set up. Of course, my 12 year old makes it all look easy. He had it out of the package and ready to go in a few minutes. My only job was to charge it. Once it was charged, the only other problem was finding an micro SD card. The Vivitar does NOT come with a memory card- keep that in mind if you buy one for a Christmas gift!
After we had acquired some videos, it was very easy to transfer them to my laptop to view. Just hook up the USB cable from the Vivitar to your device/computer. It will open a window automatically and ask you what you want to do with the videos. The only thing we still need to figure out is how to get them to YouTube so I can embed them into my post.
Overall, the Vivitar Action Camera is fun, rugged, easy to use and withstands German Shepherds and Border Collies wild Frisbee chases. It will make a great Christmas present for almost anyone on your list. Check back soon for the link to buy one at Walmart!
