Box Tops for Education coupons can be found on hundreds of items in your grocery store, but are you missing them? Sometimes Box Tops aren’t located on the front of a package. In fact, many of them are located near the top, side, and backside of the package. After being a #BTFE clipper for the past nineteen years, I know which products I will find the coupon on and where to look; but my littlest ones are still green.

Young children are always the most excited to clip Box Tops coupons, but it may take them a little while to remember what they are searching for in the store. To help my youngest daughter recognize the coupon, I made her a #BTFE sensory discovery bottle.

Our sensory discovery bottle was easy to make and required very little supplies. The great thing is, now that she knows what she is looking for, she has been a big help in helping us reach our goal each week.

Box Tops for Educational Sensory Discovery Bottle

(I spy with my little eye…. #BTFE coupons inside!)

Supplies:

• 1-2 General Mills products with additional #BTFE Art on the front and/or back. (Tip: Bonus Box Tops Cereal & Snack Boxes often contain the most Box Tops artwork)
• Scissors
• 1-2 Cups Dry Cereal

Directions:

1. Wash and dry empty plastic bottle.
2. Clip official Box Tops coupons from your cereal box. Save these in a safe place away from your project workspace.
3. Use scissors to cut additional #BTFE artwork from your cereal box.
4. Add two tbsp cereal to your plastic bottle.
5. Add one-two pieces of clipped artwork on top of cereal in bottle.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you have used all of your clipped Box Tops artwork.
7. Top with remaining cereal (leave room for child to shake cereal around inside.)

Offer the sensory bottle during quiet and snuggle times. Doing so can help relax your child before naps, in the car, while waiting at appointments, or to keep them entertained while shopping!
