My Review:

My son and I are on a mission this summer to see how many backpacks we can collect for Project Backpack in our hometown.  So far, we have ELEVEN backpacks and TWO messenger bags!  

Project Backpack back in swing in Alton! The Alton Central PTSA is asking for the community’s help in gathering new backpacks and school supplies to help families and students in Alton struggling with the burden of back to school expenses.  The drop off bin is, once again, at Profile Bank. All the back to school items will be used.  

Everyone remembers those first days of school and how exciting it was to have new pencils and spiral notebooks. Donations to the annual drive mean so much to the parents and students who are feeling the stress of the current economy.

One thing that makes Bixbee at the top of my list of favorite backpacks is the ergonomic design. The patented horizontal design makes it much more ergonomic for kid’s sizes.  It is designed to carry the weight at waist level.  Also, by having individual compartment pockets, it’s easier to position their books and supplies more effectively.  Having suffered with chronic back pain, I am concerned about my son’s back health.  I love that Bixbee is concerned about that too!  

I love that it has LOTS of pockets- even a water bottle pocket on one side and a smart phone pocket on the other.  The little details like the beehive shaped zipper pulls are so unique, it makes the whole backpack even more special.

Another thing that is top on my list of favorite things about Bixbee is their One Here, One There program.  For each backpack sales, Bixbee will donate one backpack with school supplies to a child in need.  Giving Back is one of the best ways a company can show their goodwill.
