Are We There Yet? I’m Hungry! I’m Bored!
When we pack up the car and head up to Maine, I never leave home without snacks. Someone, usually me, is always hungry 15 minutes after we leave the house. Goldfish are great, cracker packs are fine, but nothing really satisfies you like these new Honey Bunches of Oats Breakfast Biscuits!
Have you heard of these new treats? I hadn’t until a few weeks ago! These new Breakfast Biscuits come in 3 flavors- Honey Roasted, Chocolate Chip and Strawberry. My favorite is shown above- the Honey Roasted! I like its sweet and simple taste. The breakfast biscuits are so good, they don’t need chocolate chips or strawberry (in my opinion). My son loves the chocolate chip flavor the best. But he loves chocolate on just about anything!

How else do you keep the kids entertained on those summer road trips? One thing we like to do is play “I Spy.” Even my husband gets into I Spy when we travel. It gets tricky when it’s raining out and we have to resort to I Spy inside the vehicle.
We also like to make up stories about cars/families in front of us. The only rule is that you need to use the letters or numbers in the license plate in the silly story. We take turns making the story by each one saying only one sentence at a time. By the time we finish our adventurous and hysterical story, we are almost at our destination! It’s a creative and fun game to play. Don’t tell the kids, they are actually learning while they play this story telling game!
What kind of things do you do on family road trips? What kinds of snacks do YOU bring? Do they have as much whole grain as Honey Bunches of Oats Breaktfast Biscuits?
