Yes, I am just like you- I have stress in my life DAILY. I let stress get to me DAILY. But, now there is an easy way for me to monitor what STRESS is doing to my health. I was sent this cute Tinké Tracker to try and I’m so glad I received it. Not only does the Tinké measure my heart rate, blood oxygen level and respiration, but it also gives me a ZEN Index number. There is even a Dashboard you can log into to see how you are doing via a graph.
What is the Zen Index and how do they figure it out?
The Zen Index is an indication of level of relaxation, upon completion of the 60 seconds controlled breathing exercise. The higher the number, the more relaxed you are.
Zensorium’s proprietary algorithm uses the measurement of your heart rate variability to determine your level of stress. Your Zen Index conveniently shows you how focused breathing can create a positive emotional shift within 60 seconds.
The first time I tried the Tinke, my Zen Level was average. The app told me I could improve my level by focusing on the flow of my breathing. It also suggested I try a massage or spa session. I mentioned that to my hubby, he just ignored me. 🙂
This little device was surprisingly easy to set up and use. After you install the app (Go HERE to download the app or user manuals) you will need to create a login with username and password. Once that is set up, the app walks you through everything you need to do for your first measurement.
The measurement itself takes 60 seconds. During that time, you must concentrate on your breathing. There are different respiratory rates/circles to pick from during your set up. Just the act of conscious breathing for 1 minute made me more aware of my stress level. When I saw my score after, I knew that this little Tinke Device was going to be a big help for me.
The only thing I had trouble with is connecting the Tinke to my iPhone. I use a built-in Prong Power Battery Pack phone cover and the Tinke doesn’t fit with the cover on. I had to take my entire cover and battery pack off to use my Tinke. Maybe that’s why my score wasn’t as good, LOL.
Overall, I am intrigued with the Tinke and can’t wait to see my scores over the next few weeks. If you let stress get to you, you need a Tinke!
