My Review:

I am so glad my hubby finally installed the Sonaki Stream White Handheld Shower Filter in our bathroom!  I was very curious about how the Vitamin C would affect my hair and skin.  I didn’t have to wait long to find out.  The very first shower made a huge difference in how my hair felt after my shower.  I have long hair that I color every 4 weeks and it tends to get very dry and have tangles that are horrible to comb out.  I used my regular shampoo and conditioner and rinsed with the Vitamin C Shower filter.  My hair was so soft and easy to comb, it was practically a miracle! 

I love that it has 2 settings- one for shower spray, one for massage type spray.  If you have a hard-to-reach achy spot on your back, the Sonaki Shower will massage it away.  The Sonaki Vitamin Shower even increases your water pressure- without increasing the amount of water used.  We always have trouble with water pressure, but not anymore! 

There were 2 filters in the box.  One we used when we installed it (obviously).  The other will be a replacement for when the first one runs out.  You can tell when it is out because the filter casings are clear so you can actually see the level of the Vitamin C powder.

How long will the Shower filters last?

Sonaki Vitamin C shower filters have a life-time of anywhere between 1-3 months depending on the amount of usage. The filters can effectively purify up to 3,000 gallons of water (or 10,000 liters). This equates to about 2 months in the typical household shower (2 showers per day, 7 minute showers each). The filter casings are transparent so you can tell when you need to replace it. When you can’t see all the Vitamin C powder in the filter cartridge any longer then you know its time to change the filter.
