Simply Fun, LLC is a company that was founded in 2004 as an inspiration to change the lives of families through its educational games. The company has its headquarters in Bellevue, Washington and products are offered either through their website or through a Playologist. A Playologist is a sales consultant that is skilled in pairing kids with the right games, depending on what their educational needs are.
Simply Fun features games that are both interactive and educational. They are designed to develop skills such as math, science and communication as well as enhance critical thinking, collaborating with others and expressing creativity. The company has won over 100 awards for their products throughout the years.
My family had the opportunity to play Perspectives by Simply Fun. As you can see in the picture above, my daughter was focused in on our game. She ended up beating me! It’s great to “unplug” and play.
The object of this fun family game is to match your pattern cards to the game tile patterns on the board. You must do this as quickly as possible. The first person to match all patterns ends the game. Each pattern card has points on the back. The player with the most points wins.
Perspectives promotes thinking and strategy. If you are pressed for time don’t worry, you can play this game in 30 minutes. Imagine what 30 minutes of one on one time can do to build a relationship with a child? It means the world to them! Perspectives is a win win. Kids get crucial brain training all while spending quality time with you!
The Perspectives game has won several awards on its own including Mom’s Best Award Winner and the National Parenting Publications Awards as the silver winner in 2014. Perspectives is a game that is designed for ages 8 and up and requires 2-6 players to play. The game comes with a game board, lock pawn, 63 game cards, 15 game tiles and a rules booklet.
