Welcome to Tomorrowland!

 

The long awaited Tomorrowland movie opens tonight in theaters!  Are you and your family excited? 

My oldest son has been waiting for Tomorrowland to come out for weeks.  He wants to know what all of those great inventions are in Tomorrowland that are going to make the world better!  He wants to see, for himself, what the visionaries have come up with.  He wants to know how Tomorrowland is going to save the world!

Movies like Tomorrowland are an inspiration for years to follow.  The technology that children see in this movie today are going to inspire them throughout their lives.  This is a game changer for our future – and it is just a movie!  Who knows what is in store for a young child who will become inspired by this movie.  Tomorrowland could very well save the world – but before it does – keep your kids inspired with these great printables!

 

Don’t believe me that a movie like Tomorrowland can inspire a child to greatness later in life?  FUN FACT:  Director/writer Brad Bird is no stranger to the world of Disney and it isn’t just from working on his previous films. When he was 11, Bird developed an interest in animation and over the course of three years he finished a 15-minute animated film that came to the attention of Disney Animation, who offered to assign a mentor—the famous Master Animator Milt Kahl—to the then 14 year old. Bird stayed with a family friend in Los Angeles to take advantage of the once-in-a-lifetime offer.
