I read an article yesterday about homeschooling mom’s not getting a true “Mother’s Day”, and I have to tell you, it is true. How can we help and direct our children into making a gift for ourselves? That just doesn’t work.
And what about mom’s of teenagers? Trust me, they aren’t doing crafts in school anymore! What about these moms too?
Help a Friend!
Here’s the master plan ladies. Be your friend’s secret Mother’s Day helper and invite her to drop off the kids for an afternoon of crafts so she can have a true Mother’s Day surprise this year. The crafts below are very inexpensive and can be made in no time. Don’t let your friend go another Mother’s Day without a handmade gift from her kids!
Attention teachers, coaches, DADs, and friends – believe it or not, some mother’s are NOT getting anything for Mother’s Day because their children need more of a nudge, don’t have the money, or are oblivious to the date on the calendar. Please. PLEASE ask your kids if they have something planned for Mother’s Day or if they need help. ~ V
