When we started homeschooling a few years ago we decided to forgo Valentine’s Day cards with our kids and opted to give them Valentine’s Day books with hand written messages inside of them instead. My main reasons for doing this all boil down to waste…
- Children’s books are often cheaper than cards
- Children’s books are easier to keep than cards.
- Cards ends up in pieces all over my house – books, generally, do not
- Books contribute to our home library
- Great children’s books are never a waste of money!
