When my oldest was younger he loved K’Nex sets but often found the instructions difficult to follow. So, instead of following them, he would create his own project using the K’Nex provided and loosely following the directions. Now that he is a teenager, he has a completely different outlook on those complicated instructions – they are a challenge he is determined to defeat! He was so proud of himself for completing the Militia Ogre Titan Building Set this week. He attempted when it first arrived but hit a roadblock and made a mistake that he couldn’t figure out. After taking a break from it for a few days, I encouraged him to try again; this time he complete it! The look on his face was beautiful – it was accomplishment – and it was good!

I asked my son to provide you with a little feedback to help you learn more about this K’Nex project. This is what he said:
The Titanfall Orge was easier to build than I expected. I struggled at first because I didn’t understand the directions provided. Once I got the hang of their directions, everything went much faster and easier. Overall, this was a fun K’Nex project to do. I like that the legs and arms move but wish it stood better on its own. My little brother keeps stealing the gun that shoots – he runs around pretending to be it, very funny.
