Yes, as you probably have already figured out, I have a water bottle addiction. We don’t believe in buying individual bottles of water and wasting all that energy on making plastic bottles. So, we try out any water bottles we can. Let me tell you, there is a big different drinking out of glass rather than plastic, even BPA free plastic. The only 2 types of water bottles that I like are either glass or stainless steel. Water tastes so much better- it’s true!
I love the fact that the Glasstic bottles are dishwasher safe. As you can see in the picture below, you can take them apart and clean all the parts. It’s very easy to take them apart and put back together. The outer layer is plastic so IF the glass inside were to break, there would not be glass shattered all over the place. It would remain inside the closed system.
The cold contents inside the Glasstic Bottle do not leave wet rings from condensation. Because of the double layer, the condensation stays in between the layers and off your paperwork. That is one of my criteria for a good water bottle!
The mouth of the bottle is plenty wide- great for ice cubes or drink mixes. And it makes it much easier to clean and disassemble. The sports cap or flip cap is another great feature of the Glasstic bottle. It flips all the way back for easy drinking. It even has a great handle so you can clip it on your backpack. The cap has a lock so there will be no accidental leaking if the bottle gets knocked over. My son throws his onto the couch and we never have to worry about it leaking.
The outer shell is made of BPA-Free Tritan copolyester plastic. You don’t drink out of the plastic outer part, but I love that it is BPA-free.
You can use the Glasstic bottle for hot or cold beverages. You can even use them for carbonated beverages. The drink stays bubbly and doesn’t taste flat after 15 minutes like some bottles.
