Launched in January 2015, after 6 years of development, Upbra® bras were designed by the Coolware team of engineers and designers (who created Cooltan Tan Through Sportswear) along with the input from hundreds of women around the world. The mission was simple: make a bra that would give lift and cleavage like never before, naturally, without excessive padding. And make it so that women could select the amount of lift they want. And after all that, it would have to be comfortable and make everyone look and feel incredible.

Even before the launch of the Upbra® bra, the CBS television show, ‘The Doctors’ featured it on a segment called, “Cleavage that is Not Surgery”.
Upbra® is changing the idea of what a bra should do. Women are finding that adjusting their look with an Upbra bra is as simple as a pull of the cleavage adjusting strap. With that much adjustability, almost anyone is now able to get cleavage that they could never have done so before, naturally with what they have, and without having to go under the knife. Some have called the Upbra a paradigm changer in the lingerie/bra industry.
Now Upbra has been working for the past three years to improve even further. Using data taken while measuring over 1,000 women during the five years of development, the designers at Upbra realized the answer to a more straightforward way to get your bra size was right in front of them: all that data. So they decided to take all that statistical data from real women and put it all into a smartphone app to determine bra sizes.
Now available, after a year of testing and development with over 6,000 women, Upbra has officially introducing their sizing app. Upbra does this measuring on the app with your phone. It is completely secure and private. No pictures are taken at all. It is all a series of matching yourself to a series of graphics.
The app basically replaces tape measures with technology to help women find the perfect size,by replacing tape measures, Upbra is also replacing the “difficult to understand” charts, thus eliminating the errors that women get because nobody ever says how tight to hold it, or how to keep it from falling down your back.
Another thing Upbra does with this data is figure out what the majority of women in each size range want from their bras. That information is used by the company’s design team who have been working full speed to come up with improved models of Upbra bras with specific attributes for different sizes.
Our Thoughts:
Upbra is comfortable and has provided great lift for me. It has a soft, silky feel that does not rub or irritate my chest. It is fabulous to have, especially towards the end of teh day when you feel you are losing the leverage and lift you started out with in the morning. With a simple adjustment, I can reaffirm the desired look and lift I want. This has definitely changed the way I look at bras and support.
