50% Companion, 50% Ultra-Soft Pillow: 100% Squishmallow
Plush toys never go out of style, but sometimes one comes along that stands out from the crowd. Squishmallows are Japanese-Inspired plush toys. They are whimsical, colorful critters your children will adore. Since they come in several sizes they are great as stocking stuffers or as a main gift this Christmas season.
About Squishmallows
Squishmallows are made of super soft Spandex EF and polyester stuffing. These cuddly friends have a soft marshmallow like texture which makes them perfect companions. Since 2017, these loveable friends have been providing comfort, support, and warmth whether on the couch, bed, or on the go. In addition to being cute and cuddly, Squishmallows are washable.
Each Squishmallow has its very own personality and background. You can read about it on their 3D hangtags. Plus they now come in 4 sizes including: 3.5″ clip-ons, 8″ small, 13″ medium, and 16″ large. These plush toys are great for children , tweens, and collectors of all ages.
Mom’s Thoughts
When I opened a box full of Squishmallows, I was in heaven. They are super cute and colorful, with animals varieties I love. The unicorn was my favorite, but I also love Holly the purple owl, Fifi the fox, Piper the penguin, and the Sloth. I mean a cute, soft Sloth! What more do you need to complete your life. All joking aside these Squishmallows are so soft it is hard to adequately describe. The tactile delight you get from these silky, soft, marshmallow like toys is great. They are akin to fluffy clouds in the shape of animals.
My Kids Reaction
My three kids were ecstatic to get these squishie toys. For the boys we call them pillows because stuffed toys are not cool for a 13 year old and a 16 year old. Nonetheless they like them and use them at night. My daughter had shrieks of happiness when I handed her the Unicorn. She carries her around the house wherever she goes. The Unicorn has seen movies, has done home-school, and has taken rides in the car.
Adults Love Them Too
Since I have yet to officially grow up, I have an adorable pink penguin named Piper on my bed. I kept the smaller size since I should be over toys, but she was so soft and so cute. Just look at that happy face. My puppy likes her as well and drags her around, so I have to rescue her and put Piper up when the dog is on the bed. When my husband saw the Squishmallows he said we had to have one on the couch so he would have a neck pillow whenever he needed one. Therefore Fifi the fox sits on our sofa in case there is a need for her, and my husband does in fact use her as a neck pillow.
