I have enjoyed dressing up since I was a little girl. Not all dresses and jewelry but a lot of different costumes. I got older but my love of costumes didn’t change in fact it continued to grow. Now I dress up for Halloween and enjoy cosplay. I have tried a lot of different wigs in my days of costumes. I have found a new favorite set of costume wigs from MelodySusie.

Each box contained the wig stuffed with paper and wrapped in a net all inside a plastic bag. Each box also comes with a fishnet wig cap and a wig comb. I was talking costumes with a friend and I mentioned that with the red wig I could pull off a Kim Possible cosplay and he suggested Black Widow as another option. The long purple hair is just super fun to wear though I haven’t come up with any ideas for that one just yet. My favorite one though is the long blue curly wig. I decided to wear that one this year for Halloween festivities and go as a mermaid.
It was easy to put together. I used one of the fishnet wig caps to cover my cheeks and applied the makeup to give my skin the look of having scales. Add the fun costume wig, a pair of mermaid leggings, and either a sparkly top or a mermaid shirt and you have a quick (took me 30 minutes to do makeup and get the wig on), easy, and fun costume idea. Most other costume wigs I have tried either looked super fake or looked and felt super fake. MelodySusie wigs are neither of those. I posted a photo on my social media account and my son thought I had dyed my hair bright blue. Now I have dyed my hair some colors of the years and right now it is a blue black but I’ll leave the bright colored hair to the wigs so I can opt for a different look as often as I want.
