D-Link Connects You to the World and Home
Amazing Internet Capabilities with the D-Link AC2600
The internet is a REALLY big deal in our house. Between a smart tv, several gaming systems, laptops, an iPad, as well as, several cell phones, when service gets slow or dropped we hear about it, especially from our boys.
The D-Link AC2600 has been an amazing addition to our home. With its dual core processor and dual band connections, this router is equipped to meet all your internet needs. From surfing the net to flawless gaming, this router is up to the challenge. It can even allow users 4k streaming and gaming.
Extended Range
Another issue we were having with our previous router was its range. We have a fairly modest sized house yet every time my husband or I would go to our bedroom and shut the door, our wifi would then cut off service to anything in our bedroom. This lead to a couple months of overage charges with our cell provider. Not anymore! Not only can we get full signal in our bedroom, we are able to pickup our wifi within 100-feet of our home in any direction, passing through brick walls and all.
Easy setup
My husband is certainly not the most tech savvy guy but was amazed how simple it was to get this amazing router up and running. By simply following the step by step instructions provided with it, he had it out of the box, up and running, and password protected within 10 minutes. It was much easier than previous routers. For any user who will follow the simple step by step instructions provided, setup will be a breeze!
The D-Link AC2600 is an amazing router. It is strong enough to meet the toughest network demands, yet user-friendly enough that any technical novice will be able to make it a welcomed addition to their home within minutes!
Monitor Your Home With the D-Link HD Wi-Fi Camera
Anytime you leave your home empty whether on a vacation or even just a run to the grocery store you are opening up the possibility of a whole slew of things. Fire and robbery are among the most common concerns while away. We also know that stuff can happen even while we are at home. Aside from the possible fire and robbery while home, we also can add simple things like children getting out of bed when they are not supposed to or even arguments among children. Along with having a Wi-Fi router that works so well, we also are able to monitor and record what is going on in our home from anywhere with the DCS-936L HD Wi-Fi Camera by D-Link.
My husband and I are foster parents which adds a little more of a need to have eyes on all our children (especially when they first come into our care). The HD Wi-Fi Camera is a great addition, allowing us to have eyes in other areas of the home.
About the Camera
The DCS-936L is easy to set up. It mounts to any wall with just 2 screws! Next, all you have to do is download an app that allows you to control all the settings of the camera. A few options I love are…
- SD card slot allows you to record live
- Night Vision allows visibility even at night
- Alert sent to your phone when the camera detects loud noise or movement
- Watch live from anywhere through your phone or iPad, with a clear crisp 720p HD picture quality
- A movement sensor notification for a specific section of the room
The feature in the app that allows you to select a specific area of the room is great especially for those with children. Since we are foster parents, one big concern is worrying about the children wandering out of their bedroom at night (and getting into who knows what). With the DCS-936L, we are able to select the part of the room that includes the door. If the child goes out of the bedroom, it senses the movement in that area and will send us an alarm on our phone yet doesn’t go off with every toss and turn through the night! This is also great for those with sleep walkers or elderly.
Keep connected to your home, family and even the world with the DCS-936L HD Wi-fi Camera and the AC2600 Wi-Fi Router by D-Link.
