I love the design of the knife block. It is sleek and modern looking and does not take up much space. We recently had our kitchen counter tops and backsplash redone and now I love having the knife set on display in my beautiful kitchen. More important than the modern beauty of this set is the functionality of the set.
These knives are sharp! Notice how thin you can slice something and with little effort. Also if you look there at the base of the knife, you see that the knife and handle are one seamless piece, yet the handle is very comfortable and light weight. My husband and I both enjoy using these. I used the the little paring knife to peel a small apple last night, and it worked great. Usually I have to get out my peeler utensil and peel first then cut up, but the X-Chef knife did it all! I was able to peel the apple taking off only the peeling, not chunks of my apple with it.
