What is more classic than a Disney Cartoon? Disney has released a line of their classic movies and calling it the Signature Collection. Recently released again to Blu-Ray and DVD is one of my all time favorite movies, Pinocchio.

I remember when I was little and I would hang out with my mom at her job when I got out of pre-school. Every afternoon she would pick me up, take me to get lunch and we would go to her job at a plant nursery. We used to eat at a hamburger fast food place and at the time they were having a promotion featuring small (maybe 5-6”) stuffed Disney Characters. That year on Christmas, the tree was filled with all of the stuffed characters. Pinocchio was one of them. I loved them so much and kept them for many, many years. This is one of my most treasured childhood memories and it cemented not only a great memory but my love for Disney. These classic characters and movies like Lady and the Tramp, Dumbo, Pinocchio, and Bambi will always be must haves for my movie collection.
The re-release of Pinocchio is the first time on digital HD and it features some great extras! How cool is it that you can now watch this fun story anywhere you are? Extras included on the Blu-Ray includes:

Sharing this wonderful story with your children is so important. The story is classic but it also is something that helps guide our kids in learning about their conscience. Who else can explain that little voice in your head that tells you what is wrong and right than the lovable little cricket, Jiminy?
