Can I tell y’all a little secret?  Valentines Day is like, my least favorite holiday of all time!  Really, what can you get a guy for a day centered around pink & red hearts and naked little cherubs shooting arrows?!?  I’ve not always felt this way, but after 20+ years with the same guy – I’m tired.  I’m tired of trying to come up with fresh gifts that won’t break the bank!  Can anyone at least pretend you sympathize with me…?  If you share my pain, read on… Goodyear has come to the rescue this year, and in a BIG way!

Again, another little secret, Did y’all even know Goodyear made boots?  I sure didn’t.  I was shocked when I saw these bad boys pop up on my computer screen.

In true Goodyear fashion, many of the boots carry a name stemming from the racing scene.  I received the Daytona and the Darlington’s to try out.

My 13 year old son (so, when did that happen anyway?  There’s no way I’m old enough to mother a 13 year old!) tried on the boots so I could get some pics for you guys.  He absolutely fell in love  with these shoes.  Believe me when I say this is a BIG deal.  My sweet guy has some sensory issues, so anytime he loves anything new, I’m ecstatic!  So thankful I got two pairs, now he can have one and I guess we’ll share the other with Dad! 😉

I opted for the steel toe Daytona‘s for my hubbies Valentines gift.  These are sharp looking boots.  Doubtless, he’ll wind up wearing these out for a while before he transitions them into actual work boots!
