Looking for any way to get away from the life and town he was born into, Tripp (Lucas Till), a high school senior, builds a Monster Truck from bits and pieces of scrapped cars. After an accident at a nearby oil-drilling site displaces a strange and subterranean creature with a taste and a talent for speed, Tripp may have just found the key to getting out of town and a most unlikely friend.

Melding cutting edge visual effects and state-of-the-art CGI, Monster Trucks is an action filled adventure for the whole family that will keep you on the edge of your seat and ultimately touch your heart. We absolutely fell in love with Creech. He is an intelligent creature who Tripp comes to care for and they emerge into a wonderful friendship.

Watch as Tripp and Creech work to save their families and their town from a large corporate oil company drilling in their area. The movie uplifting, filled with laughing moments and reminds you of unlikely friendships and bonds that go beyond the normal. It also teaches that love comes in many shapes.

My favorite aspect of this movie is the message of family love and bonding in diverse ways. The creatures are more intelligent than you can imagine and Creech really helps Tripp come out of his shell and evolve as a young man.Want to join in the activity and fun?
