Make Cooking Easier With Sabatier Knives #Review

December 27, 2016 by Pam Maynard

A Knife That Is Sharp With Every Use

I have had a hard time keeping my knives sharp. Remembering to sharpen them with a knife sharpener before use is something I struggle with. Therefore, most of the time, I wind up remembering about the time I cut into something. Then, I have to clean the knife to be able to sharpen it and start all over cutting. Sabatier has a pending patent for their self-sharpening sheath on their excellent knives!

A lot of times I am not crazy impressed with the quality of knives. Everything seems to be made so cheap these days. Not only are they sharp and great quality but they are an excellent price!

Features Of Sabatier Knives

The self-sharpening sheath is a brilliant idea and I totally love it! As you pull the knife out of the sheath, it will be sharpened by the built-in mechanism in which the knife rests in, while not in use. This allows the knife to stay razor sharp with each use. How AWESOME is that?!

All the knives are made from stainless steel and are great for all aspects in the kitchen. Just make sure you hand wash your knives because they are not dishwasher safe. Wash them with warm soapy water and then dry them immediately after use to maintain the best condition.

The blade is made from high-carbon steel that lends strength, sharpness, and durability.

Choices of Sabatier Knives Include

  • 8-inch Chef Knife
  • 6- inch Chef Knife
  • 7-inch Santoku Knife
  • 4.5-inch Fine Utility Knife
  • 5-inch Santoku Knife
  • 8-inch Slicer Knife

My Thoughts

Tonight, I made a delicious fettuccine chicken alfredo and used the knives to cut the onions and chicken. The knives cut through both the onion and chicken like I was cutting through jello! I did no have to use any force to get a perfectly even cut! I can’t wait to chop some veggies for tomorrow night’s meal!
