An organized craft area can turn crafting into a much more relaxing experience.
I love crafting – it’s not only my outlet, it’s actually my career! But sometimes things can get hectic. I need to get a new craft out on the blog already. I can’t find the right materials. I’m short on inspiration.
Lately, I’ve been working on turning my craft room into something truly inspirational. I started by taking a small room/walk-in closet in my home and lining it with shelves, turning it into a craft room. Organizing such a small area while leaving things accessible has been a real challenge though.
The YouCopia CraftStack is a perfect solution, as it allows me to easily access whatever it is I choose to put inside. The airy white adds visual space to my area as well. It can hold about 160 rolls of washi tape, though I do use it for ribbon scraps, twine, and other craft supplies as well.

The pull-out drawers also bend downward so that you can see what’s inside, even if it’s on a shelf above eye level. That way things actually stay neat.
My next project is going to be putting some of my smaller craft supplies into small jars and organizing it in the space I have left in the CraftStack. I think it would be perfect for buttons, wiggly eyes, and other small heavily-used supplies.
