My Thoughts:
My hubby and I used to listen to Windham Hill music at night to fall asleep. We loved the relaxing music- it helped drown out the sounds and thoughts from our busy lives. Of course, once our iPod died, we haven’t had any music to listen to at night. I was so excited when I found out about the Sound+Sleep machine. We have been using it at night for about a week and we both love it!
There are so many sounds to choose from- we haven’t even listened to half of them! So far, my favorites are Meadow and Meditation. Meadow reminds me of camping- listening to the crickets at night. The mediation sounds are very similar to the Windham Hill music we used to listen to. If you love sleeping to the fan at night, but it’s too cold in the winter, you will love the fan settings!
One of the best features is the adaptive sound technology. It automatically adjusts for the other room sounds. If the heater kicks on (or air conditioner in the summer), the volume will adjust to compensate. I have never heard of this technology before, it is quite amazing!
The timer is another one of my favorite features. I can set it 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. It will shut off after that. I usually set it for 60 minutes- only because my hubby comes to bed after I do. He used to wake me up when he got in bed, now I just keep sleeping!
Did I mention that it has 2 USB ports for charging your devices? How cool is that?
