If you haven’t had enough Halloween fun already this year,
GET READY!
Tomorrow is Halloween!
Tomorrow is the day of all days to your little ones, and they are ready to skip through your neighborhood toting the biggest treat bags they could get their hands on! While they are ready to let loose, as a parent we’re always on call. Even on Halloween! Do your best to keep your little ones healthy this Halloween by being mindful throughout the festivities. Make sure little hands continue to practice good hygiene habits, such as, hand washing with soapy water (or hand wipes) before eating anything AND limit your child’s contact with others if he/she is already battling a cold this season.
“Baby it’s [?] Outside!” Don’t forget to check the weather forecast! Much of the country is facing heat this year instead of the usual chilly Halloween air. Don’t overdress your kids, especially when they will be running about excitedly.
It’s also a great idea to eat dinner early in the afternoon before you head out. Although, I know how easy it is to skip dinner and have to grab something on the go when you’ve just spent three hours getting everyone into their costumes. If that happens, just make sure they eat something balanced before they indulge in their treat bags.
As always, Mom Does Reviews’ recommends you start hydrating your kids early so they don’t become dehydrated in the midst of the fun.
Don’t forget to take pictures!
Believe it or not, we’ve already been to one Halloween event this weekend and I didn’t get a single picture that wasn’t blurry or impossible to view. Snap a few pictures before you leave home so you can enter them in Hyland’s 5th Annual Costume Contest! Learn more about this fun event below.
