My Review:
Oh how I wish Britax made this carrier when my son was little. The CarryLong System is a dream come true for moms with chronic back pain. The comfy, padded waist belt and shoulder straps are designed to carry baby longer without additional stress on your back. I was hoping someone would come up with a carrier that wouldn’t leave you feeling crippled when you took it off. I loved carrying my son around in his carrier, but I had to stop when he was about 18 pounds because it was too much stress on my back.
Here are the recommended positions for baby:
- Inward-facing with Removable Infant Insert for small babies from eight to 14 pounds
- Inward-facing without an insert for babies over 14 pounds
- Inward-facing with splayed legs using the Seat Extender Insert for babies over 14 pounds
- Outward-facing without an insert for babies over 14 pounds who have head and neck control
