I didn’t master swaddling until I had my fourth child. He had become so accustomed to being worn in my infant wrap that he refused to be in any position that left his arms/body free. In a desperate attempt to get sleep, I forced myself to learn how to swaddle him. It took a few days and a LOT of determination, but I finally did it! I was thrilled to finally master it, but I truly wish I had learned to swaddle earlier as a parent. Something about it eluded me and I always gave up. The SwaddleMe® Pod is a much lighter swaddle that is ideal for warm weather swaddling. The only downside I see is it doesn’t hold baby’s arms as snug as the Original Swaddle, BUT I think the ease of the two-way zipper is going to make it one of my favorites! (Diaper changes while baby’s torso isn’t disturbed – YES!)
