The Bradens of Peaceful Harbor continues with the story of Shannon and Steve. These two have skipped around each other for a while, Steve doing his best to stay away from the hot outdoorsy girl who doesn’t bother to put on socks with her boots. Steve, a mountain man who prefers to stay to himself on top of his mountain, hot, strong, full of muscles can’t stop thinking about sweet, sassy Shannon.

Shannon crashed into Steve’s world while staying at her uncles’ country cabin researching the wildlife in the area. Steve, a neighbor, was there to help her in any way that he could. He didn’t plan on falling hard for her. But that is exactly what happened.

They knew that Shannon had to leave the mountain to go back to Peaceful Harbor once her assignment was over. Steve didn’t want to worry about after, he just wanted to get her out of his system. Good thing for both of them, they fell hard for each other.

Sure, there were differences between them, but when Shannon and Steve found themselves integrated into each other’s lives, was it possible for him to let her go?

Crushing on Love is such a sweet story about a man and a woman and how they have found their place in this world right beside each other. Melissa Foster knows how to make a story work. She has all these characters that co-mingle so seamlessly. I can’t wait for her next novel.
