Until a few years ago the thought of putting bacon on (or in) a cupcake was nowhere on my radar — then I tried a maple bacon creme filled donut at our friend’s small-town shop and I was hooked on the sweet/savory bacon combination. Now, bacon in desserts is, not only, normal, but a craving! If you haven’t tasted the goodness of bacon desserts — try this!!!

All of my friends who live in other parts of the country are talking about their cool fall weather and how much they love being able to pull out their sweaters and boots. I say, skip the sweaters for another week and enjoy your first bowl of soup instead! Nothing says comfort better than a bowl of soup and fresh cornbread — oh my!
