Spiced Sweet Potato and Bacon Skewers Recipe ~ Home Cooking MemoriesPhoto Credit:  Home Cooking Memories, Spiced Sweet Potato and Bacon Skewers Recipe

Do you love sweet potatoes as much as you love your bacon?  In my home sweet potatoes are a staple!  My teen daughter would eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I would let her! I’m excited to try this new flavor combination so she can see that there is more to her sweet potato than butter and brown sugar!  Give Home Cooking Memories’ Spiced Sweet Potato and Bacon Skewers a try for a little variety in your home this week!

Bacon And Cheddar Deviled Eggs {and how to boil the perfect egg} by Kicking It With KellyPhoto Credit: Kicking It with Kelly, Bacon And Cheddar Deviled Eggs

I have a confession… I am the worst Deviled Egg maker in the world!  My late Aunt used to make the BEST deviled eggs, but never shared her recipe with anyone.  Since I have failed at recreating her specialty, time and time again, I think I need to adopt my own version.  Right now I”m loving Kicking It with Kelly’s Bacon and Cheddar Deviled Eggs.  BACON and CHEESE in deviled eggs?  Of Course!  Why didn’t I think of it first?

Dark Chocolate & Bacon Popcorn Recipe from Practical MommyPhoto Credit: Practical Mommy, Dark Chocolate & Bacon Popcorn

We can’t kickoff our first Bacon Lovers post without making sure you see the sweet bacon treats too!  Practical Mommy prepared a wonderful Dark Chocolate & Bacon Popcorn that uses real bacon strips!  With football season cranking up this month, I cannot imagine a better time to give this recipe a try! Yummies!
