Want to read a story about a hot fireman and a not so graceful artist? Rachelle Ayala brings to life a story about a down on her luck lady who meets a very handsome fireman when her kitten is trapped in a tree. The funny part is Nadine Woo climbed the tree after her rambunctious kitten when Connor Hart rescues them both.

Little did Nadine know, Connor is her estranged half sister’s fiance. Connor had no idea that Nadine shared DNA with his cold, doctor fiance. Long story short, Connor and Nadine feel a pull towards each other, no matter how hard they tried to stay apart.

Because of their shared father, Nadine and her half-sister Elaine unite to break up their father and his new girlfriend. Elaine was scheming for her half sister to be a surrogate for her and Connor’s baby. Their father would be so devastated and worried about his children that he would break up with his new girlfriend. The more Connor and Nadine got to know each other, they realized they were meant to be together.

The outcome of this story is one that had me on the edge of my seat. Once the complicated story line was laid out, I couldn’t put the book down. It’s a complicated story about love, family, and a feisty kitten named Greyheart.

She bought him a Dalmatian puppy, he gave her a ring—and the women of San Francisco are about to lose their most eligible bachelor.

Artist and poet Nadine Woo is down on her luck. The cast-off half-sister of Dr. Elaine Woo, she doesn’t measure up, according to her strict and distant father. When Nadine and her mother are about to be evicted from their apartment, she gets an interesting offer from her sister. Seems she’s in need of a little help concerning her relationship with Fire Chief Connor Hart.

As soon as Nadine meets Connor, she knows she’s in for a rough ride. Connor is the fireman who rescued her and her little gray kitten, and she’s never forgotten how safe she felt in his arms.

When Nadine takes her sister’s place at a spring fling weekend with Connor, love ignites, and there’s no going back.
