We are in the heart of summer and with beach trips and baseball games, we are in the sun a lot more than any other time of the year. Little ones are very easily burned with their delicate skin. Sunburn Alert is a new product made to remind us to reapply sunscreen!
Waterproof and cute, Sunburn Alert is very easy to apply, easy to take off and easy to read. These color-changing and disposable stickers detect when a child (or adult) is ready for more sunscreen or even when they have had enough sun. They detect harmful UVA and UVB rays. They work wet or dry and can be used with any sunscreen whether it is spray sunscreen or lotion.
The color change is sun activated
Sun Screen is applied to the skin and sticker.
The disposable stickers are one day use.
They are waterproof, great for the pool, soccer field or the beach.
They work with any brand of sunscreen.
How it works:
1. Apply the sticker firmly to dry, clean skin.
2. Add sunscreen liberally to the skin and sticker For best results, allow 15 minutes or more to pass before getting wet.
3. When the sticker turns blue, apply more sunscreen. The sticker will go back to it’s original color once sunscreen is reapplied.
4. Dispose of the sticker at the end of the day.
This couldn’t be any easier. I do recommend applying the sticker while still indoors before going out. Once you are on the beach, you will be too busy to remember to stay out of the water for 15 minutes.
The stickers are so cute. They are in the shapes of beach things…dolphins, fish, umbrellas. They are larger than I thought they would be, but they do work. They might even leave a little sun tattoo on you or your child. How fun would it be to have a turtle sun tan line? Your kids will love seeing the sun turn the stickers blue and then watching it turn white again.
