Brush Up with Firefly and Star Wars #review

July 6, 2016 by Pam Maynard

Oral health for kids is so important. Many kids hate brushing their teeth, but with Firefly and their new StormTrooper 3D Toothbrush, kids will want to spend more time in the bathroom brushing their teeth. And what child wouldn’t benefit from that?

Let’s get serious for a second. Both of my kids are guilty of not brushing, they have both had dental work done and of course, they are both in braces. In the past few years, I have spent more time in dental offices than I would have liked, but a beautiful smile is so important. From a first impression to a parting grin, a smile is the first thing most people notice.

So, how do you get small children excited about brushing their teeth? With cool toothbrushes, of course! Firefly has created 3D toothbrushes with none other than Stormtroopers on them. Yes! Stormtroopers from Star Wars has been made into a 3D Toothbrush that kids will WANT to brush their teeth with.

My kids are bigger. They are 11 and 15. Not exactly small kids, but sometimes they act like it. When these brushes showed up at our house, they became so excited! I wasn’t exactly expecting that reaction to these youth toothbrushes, but okay. I’ll take it. The funniest thing was my daughter (the 15 year old) HAD to have it. She recently had her braces removed and when I’m not catching her taking selfies or looking in the mirror at her new smile, she’s in the bathroom brushing her teeth.

She immediately grabbed her a stormtrooper and went to brushing. She says she wishes they were a little bigger (so it would be an adult size brush), but that doesn’t stop her from getting excited when she sees her StormTrooper standing on her bathroom sink. I’ll hear her giggling from time to time. It’s hilarious.

My son, he finally decided to get on the bandwagon and started using his StormTrooper. He is a little more laid back and quiet about things. He does love Star Trek and all the characters. His favorite is Chewy, but he like Darth Vador too. He can’t wait to see what other characters from Star Wars will be put on a FireFly Toothbrush.

When they are small, children need lots of encouragement to develop and keep healthy oral habits. Why not let them have fun while brushing.
