Entice your children to go outside and play with these must have water toys this summer!
If you’ve read any of my previous articles, you’ll know I am the mom who searches for ways to entertain my kids offline. They are a lot like me and love WiFi a little too much. 😉
I must admit, after a long year of homeschooling, it is a breath of fresh air to go outside and enjoy the sunshine and play. Besides, what is better than playing in water? Here are some of my favorite water toys that I know you all will surely enjoy!
Hydro Swirl Spinning Sprinkler – ages 4+
This swirling water sprinkler has foam wiggle tubes that spin around in a circle very quickly. You can increase or decrease the water pressure to get the desired spray pattern you want. Just make sure to do a walk around to see if there are any rocks or sticks lying around. After you clear the area, sit back and relax while the kids run back and forth and get plenty of exercise. Hurricane Water Balls – ages 5+
These reusable water balls have a durable soft shell. They are the perfect solution to messy water balloons. When I saw these I knew we needed them, stat! My kids really enjoy throwing water balloons at each other. However, they do not like cleaning up millions of tiny balloon pieces in the yard afterwards. The Hurricane Water Balls are easy to fill and seal. All you have to do is squeeze them together! What’s even better is you can reuse them up to 1000 times! Hydro Twist – ages 4+
This pipeline sprinkler is perfect, allowing multiple children to play at once. It has a wide range of flexible sprinkler water fountains. As with the Hydro Swirl, it connects to any standard garden hose. Kids love to run back and forth while getting soaked with the wiggling tubes. My kids like to take turns with both sprinklers and make their own water park in the front yard. I know when they get these water toys out it is time for sunscreen because it will keep them occupied for hours! Available at Target now.
Super SharkPedo – ages 6+
This underwater shark is 18″ long and glides through the pool with ease. We took it over to granny’s pool to test it out. Submerge it to fill the head with water and then you throw it across the pool like a dart. It takes off and swims up to 40 feet. Let’s just say it is their favorite pool toy. I had to laugh because I was editing pictures for a review and saw SharkPedo swimming around the pool in the background! So cute. 😉 Available at Walmart and Target now.
