A few weeks ago my oldest daughter had a group of friends over for an afternoon bike ride/hike through the neighborhood. Because it was an impromptu visit, I hadn’t purchased the usual array of snacks and beverages for the kids, so they left for their miles-long adventure with their water bottles and little else. When they returned later that afternoon our Love with Food package had arrived and I had tired, sweaty, AND happy teen girls gathered around the kitchen island taking full advantage of all of the options! For the first time ever I was able to offer all of m daughter’s friends something they could eat. Even her gluten-free bestie was able to eat what was before her (…that never happens. The poor thing resorts to bringing her own snacks to my house! No parent wants their child’s best friend to have to bring her own snacks during visits.)

Before the girls returned that afternoon, I was able to look at all three boxes from Love with Food at the same time and it was really neat. Mom Does Reviews has reviewed Love with Food boxes before, but never have we had the chance to review all three boxes together before, and compare the contents within the same month. A few items were the same, or the same product with a different variety, but much of it was very different.
My biggest surprise was the Gluten-Free box. Everything inside is totally gluten-free and also organic or all-natural, with no artificial junk. — First, the Tahana Caramels were heavenly. But in regards to the entire box, I never knew you could have such wonderful treats in a gluten-free option. My daughter’s friend was proudly showing me all of her favorites and encouraging me to share with her. Everything was amazing! When I think “gluten-free”, I think “ickies, that can’t be good” –but it turned out to be my favorite box from Love with Food!
