For over a year I had a young son who loved Curious George so much he pretended to be him — all the time! When he refused to answer us in words, we explained his behavior to others as him “being George.” Now that he is an older sibling to two toddlers, we use his love Curious George to help him bond with his younger sister and brother. It is the one show all three of my littles enjoy together during cuddle time without complaint.
Last night my littlest bunch climbed into my bed to watch Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey together. Before we made it to the St. Louis Arch scene, all of them were sleeping peacefully. This allowed Mommy and Daddy to sneak back into the living room to watch our own favorite shows on Hulu. I don’t think we [parents] would ever get to stream anything on our own without bedtime help from Curious George!
