I have been very interested in learning more about essential oils for about a year. I have read several books on essential oils, and have been looking online to see what oils are used for specific problems, ailments and concerns. I was blown away by all the information and the sheer volume of oils that are out there. It almost seemed overwhelming at first. However, I truly wanted to learn more so I just kept digging through information.
“Essential oils are the “natural essence” of nature. Essential oils have been used for thousands of years to benefit the human mind and body. Essential oils, “the natural essence” are powerful constituents that plants produce to protect themselves from insects, environmental factors, and disease. Experience essential oils the way nature intended with Better Essentials. Every bottle of Better Essentials is GC-MS tested for quality and purity by third-party experts. We ensure that every bottle has passed our strict quality requirements, and guarantee the quality of our oils with our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.”
I still have much to learn, but I decided to start trying some of what I was learning. I was asked to try some of Better Essentials oils and give my thoughts on them. I love the simplistic approach to oils that they give. In the internet information age, we can quickly get ‘information overload’, but Better Essentials give such a simple explanation. I love that!
I received 5 oils from them. They came in a handy zipped carrying case that will hold ten oils. It was so easy to throw in my bag and take with me. (I left on an overnight trip the day after they arrived.)
I was so excited to try these oils. I diffused Frankincense first. It is calming, along with many other uses such as; antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant and more! I had also read that Lavender was great for restful sleep so I put the diffuser in my bedroom with lavender several nights in a row. I loved it. A third oil I tried was Cool Relief. It is a blend of 4 oils that is great for sore and aching muscles. You just mix a few drops with a carrier oil and massage on the sore muscle, better yet, have your spouse give you a massage. I used some of the Cool Relief on my very sore arm/shoulder and noticed a difference pretty quickly.
I have enjoyed my first uses of essential oils and I will continue to pursue learning more about them and their uses. There is a whole world of information and learning out there, just take it one step at a time. Better Essentials offers great, yet simple, explanations of each oil and how to use them on their website, so go look them up.
