We were sent the Purple Bluetooth Hoverboard to review and my son was so excited to try it! As you can tell, we tried it outside on the driveway. It’s still winter in New England, so we had to wait for some ice to melt before my son could venture too far.

How do you use it?

Here is the advice I was given for using the smart balance board for the first time:

1. Forget about balancing yourself and just trust the board itself, step one foot on it and step the other foot on it fast. Always make your body and legs straight. Don’t lean your feet forward and backward at the same time, otherwise you might fall down. Always let the center of gravity on your front feet so it will move forward. Also, you must step back to get off.

2. Charge it for 2-3 hours and it will be full. Although it will shut down to green light when it’s full, but never have it charging overnight.

Be careful and always put safety first. I have to admit, I tried the HoverBoard and I should not have. I fell and skinned my elbow- so only use the HoverBoard on pavement AFTER you have mastered the art of balancing on it!

Here are some tips for tricks for your HoverBoard:
What is my Board is unbalances?

Switch off, put it on the ground and keep it balance.
Press the power button and hold for around 10 seconds until the lights flash.
Restart it and finish.

Tips for Safe Riding:

DO NOT ride on rough floors.
Stop before get off.
Get off the scooter from the back side.
DO NOT ride un-balanced, always keep balance.

What kind of family fun can you have with the Alienboard?

Final Thoughts:

Use your judgement as a parent. Don’t let children ride the HoverBoard unattended. Where knee pads, elbow pads and a helmet when you or your children are learning.
