My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear was launched in 2009 by Purusha Rivera. She was working in Maryland as a private contractor for an OB/GYN office. Purusha is a 2000 college graduate, with a degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. In 2001, she became a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, with a specialty in OB/GYN. The heartbeat bears came about because she wanted to offer pregnant moms a unique experience that they could cherish forever.
So what exactly is My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear
It is a kit that contains a stuffed animal of your choice along with a 20-second red heart battery recorder that allows you to record your baby’s heartbeat. What a beautiful thing! Do you remember the first time you heard the sound of your baby’s heartbeat? For me, it was a feeling of relief, excitement, and anticipation!
My Baby’s Heartbeat Bear offers an array of animals to choose from including elephant, whale, monkey, bunny, panda bear, hippo and so much more! All of the stuffed animals are made with a soft material that is much like fleece and contains poly fiber stuffing.
