About MoonCats and their Cashmere:

Our shawls are made of 100% cashmere. After traveling around Asia and meeting with cashmere suppliers, we decided to use the highest quality fibers coming from cashmere goats living in Inner Mongolia, a province of China which is the cradle of cashmere.

The hair of Mongolian goats is collected once a year after Winter months. Then it is carefully washed and sorted by hand to spun and weave only the longest and finest hair. Our scarves are manufactured and dyed in China and Nepal.

The average diameter of our cashmere fibers is around 14.5-16.5 µm, which represents the highest quality. The length of the fibers is around 37-41 mm. By making sure these criteria are respected, we ensure our products are the highest quality.

MoonCats wants to provide a unique cashmere experience at affordable prices. Whereas the pure cashmere scarves sell for $150-$300 at luxury brands, as an online brand we offer them for $95 because we do not bear the costs of physical stores.
