The Nano Falcon XS by Silverlit is the smallest remote control Helicopter as certified by Guinness World Record.
Everything about this remote controlled helicopter is so versatile and compact. The helicopter unit features a wireless remote that uses 4-AA batteries (not included). The wireless remote doubles as the helicopter’s charging station. Also included with the Nano Falcon XS is a carrying case, which doubles as a landing pad for the helicopter.
I found the Nano Falcon XS wireless remote features to be simple to understand and very straight forward. The helicopter flies up, down, left, right, forward and backward. I like the fact that despite its size, it is so durable. Ours has been through a crash or two, but no damage has been done.
The Nano Falcon XS was certified by the Guinness World Records on December 5, 2014 as The World’s Smallest RC Model Helicopter. In addition, The Nano Falcon XS received the Toy Insider Award for Top Holiday Toys 2015.
Mom’s Thoughts
When I was a child, they really didn’t have much on the market as far as remote controlled toys or gadgets were concerned. At first, I was a little out of my element when it came to operating the Nano Falcon XS. So, I asked my husband to take over and we were both pleasantly surprised at how well the test flight went.
Don’t get discouraged if you don’t fly right away. It took us 2-3 charges to learn how to keep it up in the air for long periods of time. Each charge takes about 20 minutes. Take into consideration there is a 10 minute cool off period after flight before charging again.
For best results, we found that pointing the controller directly towards the helicopter kept it steady in flight. It features an infrared controlled line of sight. The Trim Function keeps it rotating either clockwise or counter clockwise. We achieved flying times of 5 -20 minutes. It was incredible! I highly recommend the Nano Flacon XS for children 10 yrs and older. With a little patience, you will have A LOT of fun!
