Sage Spoonfuls Essentials Package #Review #MDRChristmas15

December 6, 2015 by Victoria

Disclosure.New.3

I started learning about organic food options when I worked for an agriculture attorney back in my early 20s.  At that time, conventional farming was at a crossroad and there were a lot of unknowns coming into the picture.  For the health and safety of my family, we began seeking organic alternatives despite the hype of these “great new products” that were being introduced to farmers.

Now, almost fifteen years later, the country is really looking at organic farming  like never before.  We now know that feeding our children conventionally grown produce is putting them at great danger, especially our babies who are exposed to more chemicals than the generations before them.  We want out children to grow strong and have long lives – thus, we must give them the best food choices available.

Sage Spoonfuls

Sage Spoonfuls came about from a mother who struggled to find adequate, affordable, organic baby foods for her baby. Her system is quiet, easy to use, and helps save families money!

How does Sage Spoonfuls help save money?

A single jar of organic banana baby food is one dollar per jar.  I find this baffling because organic bananas can be purchased for less than a dollar per pound!  One pound of bananas will make 6-7 jars of baby food when you make your own banana baby food with Sage Spoonfuls!

Your baby can enjoy organic bananas for about ten cents per jar!

Sage Spoonfuls offers a complete line of products and tools so parents can easily make, store and transport food for their babies and even the whole family. The cornerstone of the Sage Spoonfuls system is the immersion blender and food processor, which purees or chops food in seconds. Prepared food can be packaged and labeled in just minutes using the brand’s glass storage jars. Sage Spoonfuls is the only brand that offers a homemade baby food system with glass jars. The company’s offers many resources for parents including the brand’s web site, blog and books, which feature hundreds of recipes, tips and useful information.

I received the Sage Spoonfuls Glass Homemade Essentials Package to use in our home.  It includes the Sage Spoonfuls Immersion blender/food processor, Sage Spoonful’s 227pg recipe and guide book, 6 4oz glass storage jars with screw on lids, Sage Spoonful’s pocket guide.

The Essentials Package is the perfect starter kit for parents because it includes everything you need to make high quality, organic, baby food for your baby; AND the recipe and guide book tells you all about organic fruits and vegetables, how to use the system, and gives you recipes to make baby food adventurous for your baby.  (Read the book to find out what an adventurous eater your baby can be!)

My favorite Feature:

I have tried many baby food makers and products over the years and none of them have been as quiet as Sage Spoonfuls.  My first time using the food processing attachment I had prepared everyone for a loud encounter —

“okay kids, take the baby out of the kitchen, I’m making baby food”

When I began my first few pulses the kids ran back in saying “that’s it? That’s not loud!”

I was immediately impressed because the main portion of day any parent has time to prepare baby food is when the baby is sleeping.  With Sage Spoonfuls, you don’t have to worry about waking the baby!

Make organic baby food for your baby this Christmas!

The Sage Spoonfuls product line is currently available at major online retailers including Amazon, Babies “R” Us, diapers.com and others.  Visit Sage Spoonfuls to learn more.
