You know when you find a product you love and get excited? Well, this has just happened for me. I found a product that will HOLD my son’s unruly hair, ALL DAY! Beauty Brands has two different pomades that I have tried out recently on him and they work!
My son has the craziest hair! Its thick, its course, and it doesn’t do anything except turn into a big cotton ball the longer it gets! We have tried a million different products to style his hair with and the style falls within an hour.
Beauty Brands sent me their Texture Paste Pliable Pomade and their Molding Cream Sculpt and Style. Both are excellent creams, they smell fantastic and they are easy to work with. Some people get nervous when it comes to products they’ve never worked with, such as a pomade, however, its one of my favorites.
The Texture Paste Pliable Pomade is nearly smell-less, it has a hold of 3.5 (a medium hold) and it’s made for the tousled look. A man or a woman can use this pomade. I have used them for years trying to get that separated look from my layered hair. It gives you that Rockstar appearance.
The Molding Cream Sculpt and Style has a very fruity, coconut smell, its got a hold factor of 4, and its made for the sleek look. I loved the smell as soon as i opened the jar. Some of these pomades don’t smell the best, so smell is an issue for me. This is the cream that held my son’s hair all day in a MOHAWK! I will admit, he looked crazy, but the fact that his hair STAYED in place, it was enough to sell me on the product.
These pomades are lightweight, won’t leave a white, flaky residue in your hair and both men and women can use them. You only need a dime sized amount in your palm, rub it around to get on your fingers and then run it all through your hair.
