Is bath time fun or a chore for your little one? Shampoo that burns their eyes, or soap that irritates their skin is no fun for anyone! Well, let me tell you what I’ve found.
The idea for My True Nature™ came after my first baby was born. Like many mothers, I wanted to create a safe home environment. But when I couldn’t find a line of soaps and shampoos that had 100% natural ingredients, performed as well as typical mainstream products, and were completely free of genetically modified organisms, parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, sulfates, synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, triclosan or preservatives, I decided to start producing them myself. Before I knew it, I had a line of products that my friends and family loved. I started selling them by word of mouth, and the business has grown from there.
I was excited to get to try the My True Nature products. There are so many people today with all sorts of allergies that manifest in all sorts of ways, such as eczema, rashes and other skin issues. If you read the ingredients on shampoos, body washes and bubble bath products you cannot even pronounce half of them.
I decided I would try them myself as well as on a little one to give a personal review. I used the Daisy’s 2-in1 Shampoo & Body Wash in the calming lavender scent. I love the lavender smell and the fact that it seemed to lather well as a body wash. I also washed my hair with it. I have thick, below the shoulder length hair that leans more toward the oily side, so it did not lather well. I was skeptical about it working well for my hair. However, after I dried my hair it was soft, shiny and clean feeling. After my shower I used Clio’s “Beary” Soft Lotion and I loved the way it absorbed and did not leave a greasy feel, but a soft clean feel instead. I just wish the lotion was lightly scented as well.
Since the precious little one is a girl, we got the Little Sugar and Spice gift set. It includes Dewey’s Bubble, the citrus fresh 2-in-1 shampoo & body wash, 2 girly washcloths and a squirt toy, all in a reusable bag that is great for carrying toys, lunch or snacks, and is machine washable. The bubble bath produced great bubbles and stayed for awhile. The washcloth’s are fun patterns and easy to wash with. The body wash/shampoo lathered well and left her hair soft and beautiful and she loved playing with the toy! All in all I would say these are definitely products worth getting, and the peace of mind that no harsh chemicals are being used is icing on the cake! My True Nature products would make fantastic and thoughtful baby shower gifts.
