Earlier this week I decided to apply for an invitation only event called Food Fight Write Blogger Summit — completely on a whim and not expecting any response.

This fabulous event is part convention, part networking, and part competition for food bloggers that is being held in Kissimmee, Florida right before the World Food Championships begins. Follow my adventure on Mom Does Reviews social media Nov. 2-4th!
I received my itinerary today and I am looking forward to learning all that I can about the art of food sport and how to become a successful champion! More-so I cannot wait to begin sharing the great culinary experiences available in central Florida. Florida is my home state and to be able to share pieces of home with you is going to be a lot of fun.

The World Food Championships, set for Nov. 3-10, 2015, in Kissimmee, Fla., is the world’s largest food competition where professional chefs, seasoned home cooks and backyard pros go head to head in a tournament-style format. More than 500 contestants from around the world will compete in one of nine categories featuring a purse of more than $300,000 in cash and prizes.
