Somewhere near my son’s tenth birthday his gifts became incredibly difficult for me to purchase on my own. I actually stopped buying him gifts because I couldn’t keep up with what he wanted.
In order to give my son what he really wants for his birthday I started taking him on special shopping trips to Best Buy instead. There, he can explore the latest in technology: feel it, touch it, or even play it! By the time he leaves he is so excited that he will continue to talk about all of the great things he saw for hours. This solution has been great, but I still find having no surprise gifts for him to be difficult — I feel like he is missing out.

The Best Buy Gift Ideas page was created to provide gift inspirations and lists of great birthday gift ideas for ‘Him’, ‘Her’, ‘Kids’, and ‘Teens’. This helps us quickly zero-in on the right gifts for the right people. If you have a price point in mind, they display lists to help you find gifts in the range you are looking for. Including: Gifts under $25, gifts from $25-$49.99, gifts from $50-$99.99, gifts from $100-$249.99, and gifts over $250.

The second way to shop for gifts with Best Buy is the Gift Lists. Since my son’s birthday is coming up next month I asked him to create a list for me. I wanted to know the items he really wanted, so I asked him to favorite his top three choices.
When it was my turn to see what he chose, I quickly saw the favorited items as they appeared at the top of the list for me. I was surprised by some of his selections. I knew he needed a new TV for his room, but I didn’t realize he was interested in smart watches. (I think I found my gift!)
