When I was preparing for last month’s #AntManEvent I went into a slight panic. I haven’t purchased anything new for myself in several years – not even a purse. In fact, since I have been diapering a baby for the past five straight years, I haven’t had anything that wasn’t labeled a diaper bag for myself since 2010. I didn’t think carrying a diaper bag without the baby would work very well so I tried the Lily Bloom Stacey Adjustable Hobo to see how it would work on my baby free days.
When my Lily Bloom Stacey Adjustable Hobo arrived I was surprised to see how big it was. I expected the purse to be much smaller. I don’t believe I have seen a bag like this this before — especially not in a medium purse. During my trip to L.A. I was able to utilize all of that extra space to carry the extra essentials I needed while I was away from Baby Boy for a few days.
Even with everything I needed to carry with me to interviews I still noticed room inside of the purse leftover. When I got home I started using it on short trips out of the house. It works fantastic in place of my diaper bag and it doesn’t leave me feeling weighed down.
Inside my Lily Bloom Stacey Adjustable Hobo I can carry my day runner, mail/bills, pen, lipstick, lip gloss, my sunglasses, my daughter’s sunglasses, FOUR CLOTH DIAPERS, two cloth diaper wipes, one bottle of wipes solution spray, one bottle of infant medicine, two finger puppets and a board book to keep baby entertained, lotion, brush, cell phones AND MORE! I could actually fit more inside of this purse that what I could possibly need.
My favorite features of the Lily Bloom Stacey Adjustable Hobo is in the details itself. The strap adjusts so easily that I can loosen or tighten the strap while it is still in use. I have opened and closed the button clasps several times and they always close easily — even with one hand. The fabric is beautiful and I can easily wipe it clean anytime I feel it needs a little cleaning. The interior has two main spaces, one is zippered, and the other closes with the help of a button clasp.
The exterior of the purse has two zippered pockets and one cellular pocket that closes with a button. The cellular pocket fits my main phone inside easily; I always know where it is and I never have to worry about it becoming buried inside of my purse.
Overall, my Lily Blood bag is my favorite. It is the most functional bag I have ever had. I love all of the convenient pockets that help me keep everything safe and easy to access. The colors are vibrant but I feel comfortable using it anytime of the year.
