We love music so much at our house, I can never say no to a new CD.  “Imaginative and musical adventures await” in Hope Harris’s new CD.  Hope’s focus in her new CD is on learning through art and your imagination.  Each artist, from Picasso to Jackson Pollack to Claude Monet, used their imaginations to create their works of art.  Each song is a tribute to a famous artist.  From track 1:  A-C-T-I-O-N (Jackson Pollack) to Track 10: Impression, Monet (Claude Monet) and every song in between, Hope draws children in to her wonderful world of music.  We are encouraged to be creative, have fun, draw, mix, try and even have some fun while learning about famous artists through song.  Her upbeat, bluesy-pop music will get the whole family singing and dancing and asking for more.  Her energetic music celebrates artists and we even learn art appreciation without realizing it!

My favorite song is A-C-T-I-O-N, a very upbeat song about Jackson Pollack.  Hope encourages us to paint, drip, drizzle and even pour paint straight out of the can.  There’s no right or wrong way to express ourselves in art.  Using your imagination is a gift that no one can take away from you.  You don’t need to stay in the lines to be an artist.  You can do anything you set your mind to- take ACTION and make it happen.  Jackson Pollack did!Get Shortlink
